Remus Philiem - To Fall Awake

This is a scene from a story I am working on, where an injured rider sees the full night sky for the first time, having just put his horse out of its misery. I was heavily inspired by Sam Hogg's fan art of MollyMauk, which you can find here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/bAmrk
whilst I didn't bring the image up as I worked, I was certainly influenced in my composition and colour choices.
